Drill Pump

a pump designed for injecting water and hydraulic fluids (mainly clay mortar) during drilling. The drill pump provides circulation of the flushing liquid in the well and creates flow power for the face motor (during turbine drilling). Drill pumps may be of the positive-displacement (reciprocating or displacement pumps) and vane (multistage axial pumps) type.
