Origin: Formed within English, by derivation. Etymons: scenario n., -ize suffix.
Etymology: < scenar- (in scenario n.) + -ize suffix, perhaps as an alteration of scenarioize v. Compare scenarist n., and also scenario v.
transitive. To convert (a story) into a scenario for a play or film; to write or plan the scenario of (a film, play, etc.); = scenarioize v.
