Etymology: < Middle French, French rondelet (a1384) < rondel (see roundel n.) + -et -et suffix1. Compare earlier roundlet n. 2.With the α. forms compare discussion at -et suffix1; there is no evidence for a French feminine noun rondelette in the same sense.
