Origin: Formed within English, by compounding; modelled on a German lexical item. Etymons: orthodiagraphy n., -gram comb. form.
Etymology: < orthodia- (in orthodiagraphy n.) + -gram comb. form, after German Orthodiagramm (F. Moritz 1902, in Münchener med. Wochenschr. 7 Jan. 1/2).
Medicine. Now rare.
A radiographic image showing the exact size and shape of an organ, produced by orthodiagraphy or orthoroentgenography.
