The New Zealand tomtit, Petroica macrocephala (family Eopsaltridae), esp. a black and white subspecies, P. macrocephala toitoi, of the North Island. Also (occasionally) (perhaps by confusion): the New Zealand robin, P. australis (cf. miro n.²).
