Sazarac orig. and chiefly U.S.|ˈsæzəræk| Also Sazerac. [Origin unknown.] A cocktail consisting of whisky, pernod or absinthe, bitters, and syrup, served usu. with a slice of lemon. Also attrib., as Sazarac cocktail.
