non-coˈllegiate, a. and n. [non- 2, 3.] A. adj. Not belonging to a college; belonging to the body of students (in certain universities) not attached to any particular college or hall (scholares nulli collegio vel aulæ ascripti). Also, occas. of a university: Not having a collegiate system.
