1910Chem. Abstr. IV. 2363 ‘Moler’ is an argillaceous diatomaceous earth found in a limited region in the fiords of Denmark. 1923A. B. Searle Sands & Crushed Rocks I. iii. 127 Moler is a sandy material somewhat resembling kieselguhr or diatomaceous earth.., but it is less refractory and contains a considerable proportion of clay and volcanic ash, for which reason it is self-binding and can be made into bricks without any other bond. 1932A.
