1890Brit. Jrnl. Photogr. 23 May 335/2 We may here state that we have received..two specimens of kallitype. 1941Ibid. LXXXVIII. 445 Owing to the present scarcity of printing material it seemed worth while canvassing some of the old abandoned processes of photographic printing; the most probably useful seemed to be Kallitype. This was widely used before the days of P.O.P. and bromide. 1965J. Kosar Light-Sensitive Syst. i. 39 In the past, silver-iron printing papers were employed also for producing continuous-tone prints. This process was named ‘Kallitype’; its attractive feature was the possibility of toning the prints with toning baths. |
