interplant, v.|ɪntəˈplɑːnt, -æ-| [f. inter- 1 a + plant v.] trans. To plant (land) so that it is occupied by a mixture of plant species; to plant (a specified crop) with another crop. Hence interˈplanting vbl. n. So ˈinterplant n., a plant growing among others of different species.
