hydrofluosilicic, a. Chem.|ˌhaɪdrəʊfluːəʊsɪˈlɪsɪk| [f. hydro- d + fluo- + silicic.] Containing hydrogen, fluorine, and silicon in chemical combination. hydrofluosilicic acid (H2SiF6), or hydrogen silicofluoride, a fuming liquid which gradually attacks glass, esp. on heating.
