Gr. γραϕο-, γραϕή writing, drawing + -σκόπος observing: see -scope.] An apparatus containing a magnifying lens arranged for viewing engravings, photographs, etc. aerial graphoscope: a contrivance for presenting the image of an object, projected upon the atmosphere as upon a screen.
