inclinometer|ɪnklɪˈnɒmɪtə(r)| [irreg. f. L. inclīnāre + -meter: cf. declinometer.] 1. An instrument for measuring the vertical intensity of the earth's magnetic force, as shown by the inclination or dip of the magnetic needle.
