epitrochoid Math.|ɛpɪˈtrɒkɔɪd| [f. Gr. ἐπί upon + τροχός wheel + -oid; after analogy of epicycloid.] The curve described by a point rigidly connected with the centre of a circle which rolls on the outside of another circle. Cf. epicycloid.
