subgum, n. Cookery.|ˈsʌbgʌm| Also sub gum, subgumm, sup gum. [ad. Cantonese sahp gám mixture.] A dish consisting of a mixture of vegetables, such as water chestnuts, broccoli, mushrooms, beansprouts, etc., and sometimes also including meat or sea food.
