Severo-Zadonsk

a city (since 1950) in Tula Obast, RSFSR, under the jurisdiction of the Donskoi city soviet. Severo-Zadonsk is located 16 km from the Bobrik-Donskoi railroad station. Population, 23,000(1974). Coal is mined in the vinicity of Severo-Zadonsk, which is in the Moscow Coal Basin.
