(Coeval), a monthly sociopolitical and literary magazine of the Central Committee of the All-Union Lenin Communist Youth League (VLKSM) and the Committee on Youth Organizations of the USSR. Rovesnik has been published since July 1962 in Moscow. It deals with Soviet foreign policy, the VLKSM, and youth outside the USSR. Articles are contributed by those participating in international communist movements, by the leaders of fraternal youth unions, by publicists, and by scholars. Rovesnik publishes feature stories and articles on labor and the struggles of the world’s youth, as well as short stories, poetry, and songs by progressive authors from outside the USSR.
