单词 | skyrmion |
释义 | skyrmionn. Physics. Originally: a hypothetical particle proposed by T. H. R. Skyrme (1922–87) as a means of modelling atomic nuclei. In later use also: a quasiparticle formed by a pointlike region around which the orientations of the surrounding magnetic dipole moments follow a vortex-like pattern. ΚΠ 1979 Ann. Physics 117 174 (heading) Skyrmions. 1988 Nucl. Physics A. 487 p. i Skyrme's thinking about what is now called the Skyrmion evolved from an early paper in which he suggested that nuclear dynamics might be described in terms of pion degrees of freedom. 2016 S. Seki & M. Mochizuki Skyrmions in Magn. Materials i. 3 On the application of a weak magnetic field, skyrmions appear as vortex-like topological spin textures.
