Etymology: < post-classical Latin prolocutorius (adjective) preliminary, foregoing (1221) < post-classical Latin prolocutor prolocutor n. + -ius , suffix forming adjectives; compare -ory suffix1.Post-classical Latin prolocutorium (noun) is recorded only in the senses ‘place for public assembly’ (1130), ‘monastic parlour’ (1497 in a British source).
Now archaic (and historical) and rare.
