Of a verse: catalectic in its former colon (colon n.2 1).

1843 T. F. Barham tr. Hephæstion xv. 195 Now..it is plain from the tomèh, that it consists.., of the akatalehkt trokhaïk dimeter, and the iambik hefthehmimer: but the first, from having the tomèh a syllable before, has become prokatalehtik [Gk. εγένετο προκαταληκτικόν].
