Compare monocyttarian adj. N.E.D. (1907) gives the pronunciation as (pǫ:lisitē^ə·riăn) /ˌpɒlɪsɪˈtɛərɪən/.

Zoology. Obsolete. rare. Apparently only attested in dictionaries or glossaries.
