释义 | pareun. Originally: a barkcloth wraparound garment worn by the indigenous female inhabitants of French Polynesia and the Cook Islands. Later (in South Pacific islands in the French sphere of influence, the Cook Islands, and Hawaii): a type of sarong, usually made of a single straight piece of brightly patterned printed cotton.
