Origin: Formed within English, by clipping or shortening. Etymon: vin ordinaire n.
Etymology: Short for vin ordinaire n. O.E.D. Suppl. (1982) gives the pronunciation as (ǭrdinę̄r) /ɔrdinɛr/.
