Etymology: < odonto- comb. form + -graphy comb. form, probably after French odontographie (1812). N.E.D. (1902) gives only the pronunciation (ǫdǫntǫ·grăfi) /ɒdɒnˈtɒɡrəfɪ/.
Now rare or historical.
The scientific description or study of teeth; odontology; a treatise dealing with this.
