A. Rudolphi, but it has not been located among the many related terms coined in his works. In Beyträge zur Anthropologie u. allgemeinen Naturgeschichte (1812) ii. 97-8, he uses the terms Haploneura and German Einfachnervige for a group including the insects.

Zoology. Obsolete. rare. Apparently only attested in dictionaries or glossaries.
