Chemistry.
An extremely toxic alkaloid which is the active constituent of monkshood, Aconitum napellus, and some other plants; (also) any of a number of alkaloids closely related to this.Aconitine is a white powder with a bitter taste. It has a complex, polycyclic molecule. Formula: C34H47NO11.
