1927 Anatomical Rec. 36 310 The literature does not supply many cases of anencephaly or amyelia in very young embryos.

1979 Virchows Archiv A. 384 292 In this case of amyelia and anencephaly there were apparently normal neural crest derivatives and vertebral column.
