An amorphous yellowish powder, soluble in alcohol, sparingly soluble in ether, chloroform, or water; used as stomachic and astringent.

1955 Dispensatory U.S.A. (ed. 25) 1644 Condurangin has been reported to be a violent poison, causing convulsions followed by paralysis.
