skillinger East Anglian local.|ˈskɪlɪŋgə(r)| [f. corruption of Terschelling, the name of one of the West Frisian Islands in north-western Netherlands + -er1.] An East Anglian oyster smack operating off the north-western coast of Holland (see quots.).
