sifaka|sɪˈfækə| Also sifac. [Malagasy.] A small arboreal primate belonging to the genus Propithecus of the family Indriidæ, native to Madagascar and distinguished by whitish silky fur with darker patches on the head and limbs, a hairless black face, and a long tail.
