cetology rare.|siːˈtɒlədʒɪ| [f. L. cētus or Gr. κῆτος + -λογία: see -logy.] That part of zoology which treats of the whales. Hence cetoˈlogical a., of or pertaining to cetology; ceˈtologist, one versed in cetology.
