Captain Cooker N.Z.|ˈkæptɪn ˈkʊkə(r)| Also Captain Cook. [f. Captain James Cook (1728–79), navigator and explorer.] A wild boar, Sus scrofa (supposedly descended from the domesticated pigs introduced into New Zealand by Cook).
