suˈggestionism [f. suggestion + -ism.] The doctrine or practice of hypnotic suggestion. Hence suˈggestionist, one who advocates or practises suggestion; one who treats disease by suggestion; also attrib.; suˈggestionize v. trans., to influence or treat by suggestion.
