SeaCat, n.2 Brit. |ˈsiːˌkat|, U.S. |ˈsiˌkæt| Forms: 19– Sea Cat, 19– SeaCat, 19– Seacat, 19– seacat [‹ sea n. + cat- (in catamaran n.).] A sea-going catamaran; (in later use) spec. a type of large, high-speed, motorized catamaran, used esp. as a passenger and car ferry on short sea crossings. A proprietary name in the United States.
