Aaron's Rod [Ref. to Numbers xvii. 8.] 1. Herb. A name popularly applied to different plants with tall flowering stems; especially the Great Mullein or Hag-taper (Verbascum Thapsus), and the Golden Rod (Solidago Virgaurea), or a cultivated Canadian species of the latter.
