pressure-feed, v. and n. [See feed v. 7, 8 c and feed n. 5.] A. v. trans. To supply (material, esp. fuel) by means of applied pressure. B. n. Also pressure feed. A supply system in which the flow of material is maintained by applied pressure; the supplying of material in this way. So ˈpressure-fed ppl. a., supplied with material in this way; utilizing a pressure feed.
