Rosinante|rɒzɪˈnæntɪ| Also 8–9 rozinante. [ad. Sp. Rocinante (f. rocin horse, jade: see rouncy), the name of the horse ridden by Don Quixote.] A poor, worn-out, or ill-conditioned horse; a hack, a jade. Usually as a quasi-proper name.
