periblastic, a. Embryol.|pɛrɪˈblæstɪk| [f. as prec. + -ic.] a. In Haeckel's nomenclature, Applied to a meroblastic ovum which germinates by segmentation of the superficial part, becoming successively a perimonerula, pericytula, perimorula, periblastula, and perigastrula.
