obˈjectiveness [f. as prec. + -ness.] The quality or character of being objective; the quality of presenting itself as an object of sense (quot. 1677); existence as an object external to the mind; (of a person, work of art, etc.) the character of dealing with or representing outward things rather than inward feelings.
