Oscotian, n.|ɒˈskəʊʃən| [f. Oscot(t) + -ian.] A member or former member of the Roman Catholic college and seminary called St. Mary's at Oscott, near Birmingham. Also as adj. The date of the original foundation, at Old Oscott, was 1794, and the college was transferred to New Oscott in 1838.
