▪ I. octuple, a. (n.)|ˈɒktjuːp(ə)l| [ad. L. octupl-us eightfold, f. octo eight + -plus, as in duplus double. Cf. F. octuple (1552 in Hatz.-Darm.).] A. adj. Eightfold; eight times as much as{ddd}; composed of eight.
