Negretti, n. Now rare exc. Hist.|nɪˈgrɛtɪ| Also Negret(t)e. [ad. Sp. (merino) negrete, f. negro black, negro n.] A strain of merino sheep, formerly widespread, having relatively short wool and a wrinkled fleece; a sheep of this type.
