monoid, a. (and n.)|ˈmɒnɔɪd| [ad. Gr. µονοειδ-ής of one form, uniform, f. µόνο-ς mono- + εἶδ-ος form: see -oid.] 1. Anc. Prosody. Composed of feet of one kind.
