moksha Hinduism and Jainism.|ˈmɒkʃə| Also 8 moksh, 9– moksa. [Skr. moksha liberation, emancipation, f. muc to loose, release.] The final liberation of the soul when it is exempted from further transmigration; the bliss attained by this liberation. Also called mukti.
