mirific, a. rare.|maɪˈrɪfɪk| Forms: 5 myrifyke, myryfyke, 8 mirifick, 7– mirific. [a. F. mirifique, ad. L. mīrificus, f. mīrus wonderful + -ficus (see -fic). Cf. It., Pg. mirifico, Sp. mirífico.] Doing wonders; exciting wonder or astonishment; marvellous. Now chiefly jocular.
