‖ tapaculo|tapaˈkulo| Also tapacolo. [Sp., f. tapa cover + culo backside.] A South American passerine bird, Pteroptochus albicollis (megapodius), which carries its tail inclined towards its head, also called in Chile tualo; the Chilean rock-wren.
