make-over, n. orig. and chiefly U.S.|ˈmeɪkəʊvə(r)| [f. vbl. phr. to make over: see make v.1 92 d.] A complete transformation or remodelling of something; esp. a thorough refashioning of a person's appearance by beauty treatment.
