levamisole, n. Pharm.|lɪˈvæmɪsəʊl| [f. levo- + tetr)amisole s.v. tetra- 2 a.] The laevorotatory isomer of tetramisole, an anthelminthic drug which has also been used in the treatment of some cancers on account of its immunostimulatory properties.
