woodhouseite Min.|ˈwʊdhaʊsaɪt| [f. the name of C. D. Woodhouse, 20th-c. U.S. mineral collector + -ite1.] A hydrated sulphate and phosphate of calcium and aluminium, CaAl3(PO4)(SO4)(OH)6, found as colourless rhombohedral crystals and belonging to the beudantite group.
