ˈwolf-fish [After L. lupus (see wolf n. 3 b). Cf. G. wolfsfisch.] A large and voracious sea-fish, Anarrhichas lupus, having numerous sharp teeth and edible flesh; also called sea-wolf. Also applied to other fishes of the same genus.
